Over the last month, we have undergone a change in management and procedures which has now brought in a number of changes which we would like to make you aware of.
We now have a zero tolerance spam policy using a 3 strike system. All posts containing advertising links will be disapproved and a notification will be sent to the owner of the post. We do not allow advertising in any posts, or signatures.
We have enacted a large number of process changes on how to deal with spam, and as such, the forums are now monitored multiple times a day which has already seen a decline in spam posts. One of the new policy changes enacted is the moderation approval of all posts made by new members up to their 4th post, this allows us to quickly identify legitimate users and legitimate posts.
We understand that over the past year our forum has been subject to massive spam attacks which have now been rectified and appropriate countermeasures put in place to ensure that there are no repeats of the past.
We would like to welcome back with open arms those members of ours who had witnessed the severe spam attack and unfortunately made the decision to leave. We now have appropriate measures in place to ensure to you that your community will not face this same issue again.
